Tell the Rain To Stop Crying

Tell the rain to stop crying Tell the wind not to sing Tell the stars to listen When I wish for your love to bring I'm walking beside you But your heart is miles away You love another But I smile to be brave We've been friends since childhood Memories we both shared I carried your books home for you I longed for those school days of yesteryear Tell the moon to stop glowing Tell the sun it's not fair To shine so beautifully When my heart is beginning to tear You smile and kiss my cheek You playfully mess with my hair You ask me if I have someone special I say for love I don't care Tell the birds to stop flying Tell the sky not to be blue Tell everything anything If only my love I could tell you.
