Tarnished and Broken
I love the rain and snow and ice
oh, how sweet is the hazy frost, and
I love the water and the wind and storms
all the fury and creatures, for
this is what nature is and should be
not tainted by the misery of humankind
yet it is . . . tarnished and broken
with pollution and destruction -
