Symphony of Lust
"The wind is the pounding of my heart"
On the cerulean waters of the placid lake
night falls slowly as we sit together close,
splinters of porcelain full moon on ripples shake,
breeze in the garden spreads the scent of rose.
I lie cradled in your ivory arms of art,
your flying obsidian hair brushes my face.
The wind is the pounding of my heart,
making rhythm of longing in your embrace.
I drink absinthe from the cup of your lilac lips,
setting me on fire, passion swathes you in smoke.
I feel the cuddle of confining romance as it grips
at night spreading moonshine for us to soak.
Through the amorous silver mist I take you with me
to the passion river gleaming with star dust,
the melody of my heart I let you hear with glee,
immersing you in the rhapsodic symphony of lust.
