Sweet Life

The golden grass shines before me, my thoughts scatter like seeds Fleeting like the breeze moving the air, stopping and starting Softly touching my skin, as blades of grass brush against me I am free, as the colorful leaves tossed around across the land I am reaching with arms spread wide, like the birds soaring above Dipping in the air currents, flying high and then low again So many miles to go, things to see, hours just to be content --- As if time stops right here, in this moment --- --- Where sweet fragrance of flowers still my mind --- --- In this sweet life --- Heidi Sands 8/15/17
