Suspended Itchy Sneeze
wind-blown straw hats,
rain-drenched scrabble tiles,
steaming tea, pillows
... drowsy chats
his need for her to listen,
know and understand,
to see and believe
... in these
is as desperately urgent,
as frantically insistent
as a suspended
... itchy sneeze !
