ANGELS OF MERCY
My name it does not matter, it's been three years since I died
I was just a working man, just another Joe
This is no idle chatter coming from the other side
There are angels here amongst you don't you know.
I hear them softly calling, merciful angels
Helping the helpless with unbearable loads
I spent my last days with them, the angels of mercy
At the hospice of love on Sunshine Road.
They bring comfort with compassion, they give smiles to ease the pain
Sharing love and care when they know all hope is gone
And the giving goes on lasting so the friendships made remain
As they save their tears for home when the day is done
I hear them softly calling, merciful angels
Helping the helpless with unbearable loads
I spent my last days with them, the angels of mercy
At the hospice of love on Sunshine Road.
