After the sunrise,
Through many cries,
Help never found,
The colors sound.

They save my life,
But in the dead of night,
The colors sleep.
The shadows start to creep.

The dreams falter,
Leaving a motherless daughter.
Safety lost,
Replaced by eternal frost.

But during the sunset,
Worries fade.
You could bet,
That's the last of day.

Sunsets give hope;
They radiate beauty.
You might just cope,
Forget your duty.

I tell you today,
Don't let the sunsets fade.
