The wonder of the moment When praise uplifts Grace brings us peace Joy wakes our hearts And faith inspires our hope Is the moment when we praise The Savior of our souls The King of Kings, The Prince of Peace, The Wonder of Wonders My everything! There are always these moments When we pray and praise Lift our hands up to the heavens Whisper faith filled inspirations Which linger on our lives Filling us with assurance and delight Reminding us why we’re alive To give Him glory and worship That’s fully alive and dances Like a fire that can’t be extinguished A love that is beyond comprehension Sunday brings us to a time When we share our spiritual fires Give back to the One who brings life Encourages us in our sorrow and strife Frees us from the burdens, the pain The sadness that falls like the rain Through our lives, through our dreams Reminding us that without Him Life isn’t nearly so good and we seem To be so misunderstood Beyond the joy that comes alive When we worship and realize The promises that color our lives In hues of compassion, whispers Of pure peace and light – insight Into the spirit’s fire, so bright Filling us up with a melody of kindness A feeling that we can’t misunderstand His grace saves us from beginning To end… thoroughly, completely To the utmost, utterly, perfectly With a salvation that comes from the One Who died and then came back… He rose To save hearts and souls, bring conviction Relieve us from Sin, sorrow and sickness… He poured out His love to free us! He is the way, the truth, the life The reason that Sunday’s promises Come alive in the heart who praises With a heart filled with hope and grace With a love that pledges to express All the joy that Jesus gives to those Who know He is the only way, the only hope!
