Summer Rain Contest
At the time, the sun reached its highest peak
The first day, of the seventh month at noon
Clouds covered the Sky and began to leak
A pleasant treat, not a moment too soon
So many prayers were answered that day
To this day, it's called the shower of hope
The sky, a mysterious shade of gray
The very day, their fickle faith awoke
The heat had driven many souls insane
But that would change, thanks to the summer rain
