Summer Rain

On a summer day when hazy sun sets Scorched sands of drowsy desert at dusk rise Rains pierce sunk sky with force from wind they get Dune can't stop sliding even if it tries The wren in cactus cluster loses nest Swept by sound of storm sands don’t hear it cries When I get the sense of surging storm soon I will rise at dawn from the desert dune. Nice alliteration in "drowsy desert at dusk". And I can picture the sliding sands of the dune...
