Summer Day
The sun is shining on this glorious day,
The warmth of outside and shining of ray
For there are many fun places to go and play,
What a marvelous day it is today
Birds are singing to brighten your heart,
Making us feel some kind of way
Loved ones not being apart,
What a marvelous day it is today
Kids are about swimming in the pool,
Screaming and shouting the word hooray
Finding a place to stay nice and cool,
What a marvelous day it is today
As the sun goes down to bring the night,
We must sleep until the very next day
When we wake up in the morning and see it bright,
What a wonderful day it is today
