Sublime
These words of passion are for your eyes only
Uttered these words a thousand times
The love in my heart is flowing like a river
Overwhelming, such a deep intense kind
I'm sure in the history of this old planet
Untold numbers have felt this passion
Passion that's written about in romance novels
The kind that's always a fashion
Not looking for glory, not looking for fame
All I want is to be by your side
Gazing longingly into your gorgeous eyes
With a passion impossible to hide
For your eyes only, these words of love
To tell you how much you mean
Just can't imagine my life without you
I'm the happiest I've ever been
This poem of passion is for your eyes only
Uttered these words a thousand times
But the love in my heart is beyond expression
Perhaps just simply “sublime”
