Stay With Me

Stay with me- If only for an extra minute. For the morning sun is rising in the east, and as we yawn and stretch our arms in morning glory, may we start our day in harmony. Drinking coffee at a table set for only two- Laughing and speaking words of wisdom. Believing in each other as all lovers should. I needed you in my youth, now twenty-one years later, I need you to age with- We deserve all things that a day of hope can bring. Now I shall be free- You bring me delicate touches in the morning and holding onto you seems all I wish to do for… the rest of my life. Stay with me- If only for an extra minute...
