Nicely written Rondel short and to the point. Keep the creative pen flowing. Should be in the winner's circle. Good luck in the contest. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work.

Audrey You bring a nice refreshing touch to this hot summer day down here. I water the roses early morning before the heat. the grooming will have to wait for cooler weather....:) well written...cheers Margaret

A little "grooming" can help us all, Audrey, and in springtime it's a must for the conscientious gardener. Enjoyed the way you developed this cinquain into a magnificent rondel. Love, Carolyn

Audrey, I can hardly wait for spring! I "missed" gardening last year due to my hip. Now that I have a new one, I am hoping to be totally recovered so I can spring into action and plant, plant, plant by March. (Recover is going well.) I love this cinquain. Smiles, Dane

It is always exiting when spring is coming, how the vegetation brings beauty to the land, those aromatic and glorious roses and all those other things, but for some of us, well autumn is on the way. Good poem for the spring season and thanx for your warm comments
