Special Wow
Mimicking kittens’ “meow” and puppies’ “bow-wow”
He delights us with his witty quirks, remarkably wow.
Midst bed room of stuffed toys, there he prays
Along his supplication-gestures of worship’s praise.
Bound in his mobile wheel chair … he roams with ease
Shaking hands with people, sharing gladness’ peace.
In sign language, he manifests earnest compassion-care
Defying gloom of embittered disability-despair.
How special am I to have been entrusted with this bliss-filled child
Blessing me with God’s love* freely-expressed, graciously-styled.
*2Corinthians 13:11 …The God of love and peace shall be with you.
