Sonnet For the Soul
What is a soul, but energy of universal mind;
consciousness in the ether's.
What is a spirit, but energy sentient;
dwelling with the others?
Human consciousness, an awakening to reality;
the human being, in all of its frailties.
Mind, body and soul, together, are a whole.
Without the body, mind and soul; in control.
Beyond Earths realm, a spirit’s at the helm;
where souls abide on Heavens bright side.
The soul’s eternal rest; the reward for a passed test.
Where eternity sleeps; treasure, the soul reaps.
Mind your entrapped soul;
that the mortal, gains not, control.
