Sonnet 49 'I Cannot Tell You That I Love You, Still, I'Ll Love You'

I cannot tell you that I love you, still… I’ll love you how good wisdom says I may! I’ll take our friendship for the better pill, And put romances in the drawer, to stay. It seems, though tragedies do dog us all, Still, happiness resides even in the dark! For diamonds live within the vein of coal, But digging for them, that!! …Sets off the spark, That blows the hopeful digger into bits, And so, I’ll leave the diamonds in their vein, (I’m not a man who usually quits, But digging’s lighting matches in a rain Of Gasoline!) I’d rather call you, ‘friend’, And let love live!! And fool romances, end. 7/18/2019

Your lines expectedly weigh in tonnes and your consistency has made you a master of masters in this act. This is beyond compliments. Good work mate. An absolute beauty.
