Harp strings strangling hope Promises swept by disease Followers who pile lies upon pies Day and night a blur Deceptions inside lyrics obscured Sheep's slaughtered haven't you heard?

A very clever poem Arthur - you remind me of my daughter in laws mother - she always says when my son and Robyn go to Nelspruit (near the Kruger park) to visit them, got to study my English before they come. One a doctor of philosophy and the other honors in English they remind me of you! We have to read your poems very carefully to fully understand and comprehend them! The people you write about sound disillusioned and desperate! You write brilliantly! Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

Must agree with Tom, Arthur. There is more here than what one can absorb in a single reading. Compelling! Hugs, Carolyn
