Sometimes Stilled

increments of time lorn on fate's hands lie motionless as if frozen like one drop of winter's rain on the edge of an icicle restrained

thank you so much Jennifer...i think because i always sat outside in nature when i was upset, as a child in a tree, as a teen in meadows or woods, as an adult at secluded parks, nature just inspires me more and is almost always in my writes...somehow.... hugs and blessings to you my friend :)

Beautifully done Sandy. Time can be a friend or it can be an foe but with a good friend close by it can be forgotten in the moments shared. I love how you did this, your vision amazes me.

thank you so much, the conversation with my ill friend inspired this, as she said to me the days leading to my next appointment are moving so slow, as if time stopped...after i hung up with her, a poem was born.... hugs

I see that frozen drop--exquisite in every way, Sandy--so much in so few words.
