Soft Is the Glow of Moonlight
Soft is the heart that bends moonlight
to create rainbows through its prism
that arc gently across the landscape of the soul
with imagination and dreams in a twilight's wonder
where the soul accepts the beauty of its colours
as a truth from the heart's intent
to give of itself without fear or reservation
and welcome the silence that surrounds
beneath the splayed glow of moonlight
before the soul bows to an intimate wish
and the eyes of lovers fall under its spell
