Snowflake
If I were a snowflake, I’d touch you softly
Just enough to refresh you
Tickle you to smile, pick up any tears,
And make them pretty
I would fall outside your window,
Join others in a sparkling dance on the ground
I would melt with a kiss on your lips
Bring color to your cheek
If I were a snowflake, I’d bring all the simplicity you need
And last long enough for you to see stars of beauty
