Smoking Kills

Smoking Kills It started as a one time thing After that, it would be over But you called my name so sweetly You made my mouth water at the thought of you One more time wouldn’t hurt Just one last time Then it would be really over Never again “It’s bad for you” You called again I was strong until I caught your scent I was hooked on you Every morning and every night Your smell burned my nostrils as I inhaled you But I loved it After many long years I was always following you orders You controlled me And everything I did and when I did it Finally, I broke it off with you I was completely over you Until I saw you again, and was immediately hooked again You are going to be the death of me Mama always said smoking kills Never knew you were my cigarette
