perhaps we can all learn the wisdom that comes with silence like the moon. Liked your subtle but powerful words! Yellow Rose

The moon and man is an eternal thought for poets, scientists,,etc. Indeed a free spirit, like me….here’s a question Mickey..I have no answer nor why is there no woman on the moon! LOL. I never thought of this before, since I was a girl, the personage on the moon is only a male? Thank you! Pangie.

That's a very interesting observation, Pangie. Perhaps it's because poetry has traditionally viewed the Moon as something distant, untouchable--an object of yearning rather than a place to inhabit. However, poetry is boundless. So, perhaps the verse will soon follow. Maybe you or I could be the first to write something appropriate...LOL. Thank you for sharing your keen observation. Sending much love your way, Pangie.

Hello Mickey, I like you you distilled cosmic solitude into a few perfect line that for me evoke the vast, quiet gulf between the man in the moon and our noisy world. Sometimes, in silence alone, we find the truest reflection of ourselves. Wonderful Haiku! Spring Blessings, My Friend, Daniel

Daniel, thank you for your beautiful words and for truly seeing the essence of what I was expressing. Silence can be both vast and intimate, and your reflection on it adds even more depth. I’m grateful for your kindness and perspective. Spring blessings to you as well, my friend! (Psalm 46:10)

He is a rather quiet fellow, but maybe that's a good thing. I have a feeling he might have a harsh word or two for us dummies down here. Nice one Mickey

Exactly. I’m sure he is not happy with the many intrusions over the years. Thx.
