Sight Unseen
She wept and she cried still unable to come to grips
A pain too deep to hide as seen in her quivering lips
All throughout that long day she could but only weep
And what could one say but hope that she'd fall asleep
So worn out was she from such a sudden broken heart
She could barely see in not knowing how to even start
Finally the night had come, now even unable to weep
Her whole body felt numb as finally she drifted to sleep
As she had slept there an Angel came down from above
Asleep and seemingly unaware she felt this Angels love
A warm comforting embrace an understanding she felt
A simple caress of her face making such pain just melt
As the Angel spoke the feeling of love was too immense
So as she suddenly awoke she retained but only a sense
But even just that little part that sliver of the Glory to be
So was it, the depths of her heart that allowed her to see
