Road Race
Soft and comfy my padded seats.
You cater to my pleasure needs.
Like a Morris Traveller meets
classic style and a certain speed.
Your old fashioned gear stick.
In the middle at the front.
Easy to sort out and fix.
Well able to take the brunt.
After a hard climb to the top.
Smoke billowing from the breaks
Then I must shout STOP!!
In case we make the mistake
of thinking we might climb again.
Oh no, not tonight my friend.
The radiator may be drained.
This road journey had better end.
