Shopping

Shopping is a sport for the young All it means to me now Is nonchalant window shopping But every once in a while I am struck in breathless awe In front of some fashion display I catch myself feeling ageless Excited and alive Delicious and vibrant Fashion high heels sexy curves Feeling most nostalgic with That slightly elevated heart pulse Drooling a bit in retrospect Yet all I can do is chuckle As I catch in the mirror The reflection Of years gone by Resign myself I’ve had my turn Never thinking the years Would so vanish in a flash posted on January 17, 2019

They do go fast; too fast. Online shopping...after awhile one gets desperate. Great poem.

"resign myself I have had my turn". Line, I am usually wearing a zip up fluffy, furry zebra suit with a pink hood and a tail. My most comfortable outfit. I wear it to school on Pajama Day also. You wrote this one for me.
