Shades of Fall

A path, blood red from dying leaves, Journeys to a foreboding occult place Yet, it seems to call out my name And my curious soul needs to Wander amidst the tunnel of trees, Become lost, lost in thought as well, On a quest to conquer the wild, the Unknown, to emerge victorious in Making my way out of the tangled Trees, and out of my tangled thoughts. Ahead, I can see a foggy light. © Connie Marcum Wong

I sense a double message, the nature part that points to the human aspect of how so easily we get lost. Nicely woven together Connie. Love, Lizzy

While reading this wonderful write I too was lost for a while in the beauty and depths of your painting and colors. The quest to conquer remains the most fascinating idea which forces all of us to keep trying for new ways and new goals. Great write my friend and thank you for your kind and precious words on my Prayer Poem for Malala. Love and best wishes always...Ravindra...C M Won

It is frightening the deep woods, the woods without paths..years ago I walked into the wood [a park on a path] the sun began to set and as I walked out I lost the path..it was petrifying! Light & Love

yes, another breathtaking beauty from you!!! I'll have to scope out the poet one again. See if it is posted here. well, about Soup mail. For a while they let us see the messages below our posted ones, but it was not working. Many people were unable to SEND the soupmails when they tried that. I found out I could send them if I deleted the person's message below mine right before sending it. I don't know why Soup just does not give instructions to everyone when they make such a change!!
