And dance upon a moonbeam
without any guarantee.
You might twinkle like a star
merely to know how it feels.
Or view your life from afar
in a series of reveals.
Truths disappear in dreamland,
their existence swallowed whole.
And time is a grain of sand
falling into a black hole.
Secure in fantasy's grip,
sleep conjures dragons to mount.
By letting common sense slip,
there is naught you can't surmount.
