Scars On My Soul
Scars On My Soul
The battles and the fights I face
Will leave me with some lasting fears
The hollow victories I chase
Laced with my blood and my own tears
The times I lost my heart to love
The hurt and pain to lose it all
It makes it hard to rise above
And soothe all the scars on my soul
Scars on my soul (scars on my soul)
They are so real (they are so real)
Scars on my soul (scars on my soul)
Their pain I feel (their pain I feel)
The lies you told that broke my heart
And all the nightmares that I dream
The thoughts that break my life apart
The memories that make me scream
And every pain and fear I feel
The times I stumble then I fall
The wounds that time can never heal
They become the scars on my soul
Eternal scars on my soul
Forged from my battles and tears
Permanent scars on my soul
Carried through all of my years
Scars on my soul (scars on my soul)
They are so real (they are so real)
Scars on my soul (scars on my soul)
Their pain I feel (their pain I feel)
