Salt and Pepper
Salt and pepper fields are within its dour frame
It seems as though there is some snow on the ground
Trees harbor in the darkness holding no flame
These few in the field shower to those around
All else contains a mellow amount of grey
Staining crops of grain that are made into hay
Often the fog wisps through this field during dawn
These are the best of things that life holds upon
