Running From the Sun
See me move see me run see me
pass my shadow by running from the sun.
Facing ever forward eyes focused far ahead,
long shadow growing shorter running
from the sun.
Driving hard to catch the moon as it
falls below the trees, pulling darkness
farther down as daylight fills the sky.
I'm running from the sun again see me
pass my shadow by; driving hard to
catch the moon as daylight fills the sky.
