I'm watching a man I long to know Slow-slipping away from his life A man who let his good years go Taking care of his kids and his wife ... He may not be what a hero seems But there's no more a man can do Than give up all his precious dreams Making others' dreams ... come true. I Love you, Dad

this is such a beautiful thoughtful piece Gregory, love it. I lost my dad two years ago and he was the most selfless man I've ever known.

I'm so sorry you lost your dad, Lewis, I can't imagine ... we were both blessed to have such selfless fathers, (yet I wish I'd seen him more, but he was always doing for others or working to provide). Many thanks and blessings, my friend! :-)

He is very selfless, Caren, though that often meant we didn't see him much ... he is a good man through-and-through. Thank you so much! :-) <3

I can feel your heart in every word. Such a beautiful dedication to your father. Your thoughts wrap softly around me, and my heart. You are doing the best you can, and that is enough. Your father needs you and you are there. Hold each moment close, hold him close. Treasure everything. Sending you hugs along the wind. ~ Brandy
