Rhyme Time Iii - Death

I hear it, I hear it loud and clear This, this is the sound of fear it’s so loud, that I try to cover my ears but it won’t stop, its driving me insane I hear sadness, clear like the sound of rain and with each drop there's an explosion of anger and pain I can’t take it, can’t do this again I try to remember, forget me not The sound of anger whistles like the pressure cooker pot and the thought of it all makes my mind red hot I’m trapped, stuck in this spot I hear it, its whispered call One mixed with screams that rise and fall I cannot escape it behind these walls I want this to end once and for all The end rises slowly like the beat of a drum Click, click, click goes the barrel of the gun I hear no other sounds, except this one Bang! at last its finally done I hear it, I hear it loud and clear 12/23/2017
