Rhapsody of Life
Outside my low window opening on the meadow
I had hung pretty wind chimes I once designed
with seven steel rods unequal and hollow from inside,
so I can listen the musical notes that the wind makes.
At dawn butterflies flutter on the flowers of the garden,
send scented breeze to chime in the rhythm of aria.
In the twilight hours the tired birds return to the nest,
the rippling wind from their wings create a sonata.
The storm wind blows wild from the dark of fallen sky,
my mind echoes the sounds of agony the wind chimes.
The soft strokes of rain chant a lullaby, the pain subsides
while the concert of symphony plays in my heart.
The wind for me creates all the time a mosaic of music
I hear it turn into my life’s rhapsody.
