Restless Night

Last last night I couldn't sleep Why? Because my mind was restless. Next thing you know I was in a trance. Clear objects floated around right in front of me.I saw a wind- ing road up ahead. It was really cold. Where was I? I didn't see any forms of life anywhere.I felt very light. Like a feather free of baggage. Was I dead?I started floating real fast. Immediately I got scared. I didn't know why I was in such a state.I had to be caught between life and death. I wasn't ready for this. How can I change this? I want to right my wrongs and fall madly in love again. My life can't be over yet. All I want is to be with the one I love. Wait! My love was in bad car accident. He died instantly. That was many moons ago. Then I realized I was in that car ,on that fatal day I'm stuck in purgatory. 1-28-19 Alexis Y.

Hi Alexis - what a write - your trance or dream - purgatory - before entrance to the eternal Divine - you encompass so many emotions - and all due to a restless night - an amazing poem! The accident is sad! Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

Being in trance is an experience than none other. One should be afraid just he has to enjoy the ride for many things are going to fall in place after this! Excellent dearest, Alexis!

Yes, but Alexis, a restless night has led you to write a terrific poem. I do sometimes think we feel stuck, and I can relate to everything except the horrible car wreck. I hope that is not the truth, but suspect it is. Sad for sure. Thank you for sharing that.
