Rest With Me
Lay your head upon my breast..
Today’s road was long and harsh
Now evening shadows cross the hill.
Rest awhile; breathe the night’s perfume.
Tomorrow the journey begins again..
Life holds us fiercely in its grip.
But tonight- put your burdens down,
And gather strength within my arms.
