Remembering You In Silhouette
REMEMBERING YOU IN SILHOUETTE
In my life two days are marked indelible,
one in the morning and one in the night.
They remain still in mind unforgettable,
time couldn’t take them away in flight.
On the serene shore of the shimmering sea
the romantic hues of the sunburst horizon
draped the future in color for you and me.
I remember I weaved my love for you to adorn.
The passing days traversed us with sun and rain,
the entwined hearts’ beat promised to never part,
reach the end of time together in joy and pain,
see again our sea-shore footprints when we depart.
On that night like spring breeze you caressed me,
your tender touch I still feel deep for it lasts
after you left in the mist where you wanted to be.
I remember you in silhouette shaped in moondust.
