Remembering It All
Rock of ages and smiles of ancient sages remembered
aura borealis fantasies of chilled skies and morning sighs
majestic mountains standing in the light of day break
blue waters calm as silence, in the mist of life's dawn
Little colored houses and open lit windows that greet
the sun shines openly and sings his sweet warm refrain
as clouds hum a tune that only grateful hearts can hear
the British flag flys in the wind, and I begin to feel...
A patriotic feeling that only solitude can bring
foamy waters and quiet walks by the beautiful lake
I can easily be a person or a quiet sedentary drake
rock of ages and smiles of ancient sages, I recall
all the things I loved back when, I wasn't very tall
I close my eyes and dream again, remembering it all...
