Remember
Remember those days of mittens and hats
Out in the cold with the kittens and cats
Climbing up walls and skinning our knees
Running and racing and shinning up trees
Remember those dreams of castles and kings
Imaginations fought dragons with wings
Rampaging gardens to play hide and seek
Shouting at our friends if they tried to peek
What I would give now to return to those days
To those warm fuzzy feelings of my yesterdays
Where nothing much mattered but laughter and play
Instead of the hassles and stress of todays
Remember those times of laughter and fun
Happily played in the afternoon sun
We’d follow the leader leaping the frog
Skipping and running while walking the dog
What I would give now to return to those days
To those warm fuzzy feelings of my yesterdays
Where nothing much mattered but laughter and play
Instead of the hassles and stress of todays
Da na na na na, da na na na
Da na na na na, na
Doo bity doo doo, doo bity do
Doo bitty do bity do
What I would give now to return to those days
To those warm fuzzy feelings of my yesterdays
Where nothing much mattered but laughter and play
Instead of the hassles and stress of todays
