Refugees From Blue States, Part I

They say New York and California are going through an exodus, fleeing jobs, increasing taxes, they loose more and more people's trust. And given what a mess they are, I can't blame those who want to escape, but there are things you should leave behind if you're fleeing from a blue state. For example: The bad idea that the government must take care of every soul who claims they're poor, and are living in despair. While there are a deserving few, they're outnumbered by the jerks who think they can get free money without having to do real work. And when you hand the money it just attracts more and more, then the politicians pander to behavior we should deplore. And those who still bother to work see bigger chunks of paycheck drained, then someone calls them all 'racist' when they point out it's all insane, until the state is filled with souls that have never learned to fish, and the workers either join them or say,”Goodbye, I'm done with this!” Many mouths left unproductive, society will denigrate, so leave this bad idea behind when you're leaving that blue state. Then there is the quite strange notion that it's good to pay a high tax in exchange for state services, but this ignores the cold, hard facts. The state rarely does anything better than private business can, bureaucracy drives up the price, and the paperwork breaks a man. Would we really want to deal with a trip to the DMV every time we have to go out and buy the family some groceries? Plus when you tax a person high you end up with less business, take too much profit, the owner's shrug, say,”What the hell's the point of it?” They close down or move elsewhere, take their tax money and the jobs, leaving employees in the cold, of all income they are robbed. Without those jobs the employees can't buy what they need to survive, stores start closing, one-by-one, and soon the economy dies. Things quickly begin to decay, a death spiral becomes your fate, so leave the tax-and-spend behind when you're fleeing a blue state... CONCLUDES IN PART II.
