Refreshing
Beholding wondrous waterfalls midst nature’s terrain
I see the Prince of Peace in His serenity’s reign
Granting gift of redemption along eternal life’s gain
Through the eyes of faith His miracles sustain…
…Refreshing me midst work pressures’ strain.
Hearing the water’s gushing exuberance
Reminds me of the Lord’s melodious assurance
Exhorting my soul to exercise sweet temperance
While prevailing in joyous service-endurance…
…Refreshing me along His gentle forbearance.
Feeling the water’s soothing wellness-power is precious blessing
Drawing me nigh to God’s presence, verily pleasing
Providing satisfaction by His abundance never ceasing
As I stay in His contentment that’s constantly sufficing…
…Refreshing me toward heavenly pressing.
