Bright red berries shine on the bush outside the window Looking like drops of candy or almost like balls of glass A display with a mixture of red and green it shows Spreading larger every year, across the area so fast The colors of Christmas are here, shining in July With this treat of beauty growing in this sunlit day As the leaves gently move in the sun under the sky It brings memories of all seasons in a pleasant way Heidi Sands 7/29/17

Hello Heidi this poem reminds me of the berries I had on my berries tree when I lived in Wiarton. I always watched the birds fly to eat the berries. Have a nice evening my friend.

I enjoyed this Heidi. My daughter has black berries growing in her yard and her boyfriend, who enjoys cooking, baked her a black berry pie with the crust shaped like a pineapple to remind her of home as she has lived in California for over a decade now. Thank you for the memory this stirred. Aloha, Connie ; )

Hi Connie. It was showing a photo of them , now it isn't. Thank you for your comment. That is a nice story about the black berry pie and also shaped as a pineapple. ! I appreciate your visit. I love Hawaii, by the way. :)
