Really

From the age of stones we came,
to the age of modern times,
from tiny huts in the forests,
to the well-built house that shines.
Have we really come forward?
or are traveling back to back?
the houses are empty, the forests gone,
and an atom bomb right in our sack?

From the periods of hunting we came,
to the age of sophisticated breeding,
from eating flesh bloody and raw,
to the spicy and tasty proceeding.
Have we really come forward?
or are traveling back to back?
evil poaching and hunting for fun,
leaving the animals in green so slack.

From the age of horse riding we came,
to the biggest plane and car,
from travelling by foot for days,
to the unbelievable speed at par.
Have we really come forward?
or are traveling back to back?
where selflessness of travel has failed,
no meetings unless for a selfish tact.

From the times of man/woman we came,
to the gays, lesbians and bisexuals,
from the simple process of making baby,
to the test tube babies&1001 positions.
Have we really come forward?
or are traveling back to back?
abortions, HIV and casual sex to enjoy,
and emotions being merely a flack.

From the times of jungles&lakes we came,
to the beautiful roads and rails,
from the sand roads and no exact path,
to the times where planes never fail.
Have we really come forward?
or are traveling back to back?
with soil undergoing complete erosion,
and the nature's residue so black.

From the age of unknown weather we came,
to the predictions of heat and snow,
from getting wet under the heavy rains,
to the times of umbrella and raincoats.
Have we really come forward?
or are traveling back to back?
where temperature rises to 50°,
and ozone layer has developed a crack.

Are we trying all we can?
to sustain a healthy life?
or is it just our selfishness,
murdering mother earth with knife,
Have we really come forward?
or are traveling back to back?
When everything you touched was real,
not virtual and could be hacked.
