Rays of Hope
Gently aroused by the light of an imminent dawn
She opened her eyes set alight by a fading moon
Enthralled in surrender she promised to face the day
And prayed to the Universe for rescue and change
Requested nothing but to see clearly as she focused
On impermanence love kindness and compassion
Her wish was granted and the spell of a dark mind
Lifted when her timid soul embraced a lunar eclipse
