Rather Be

RATHER BE Rather be ALONE in peace Than be TOGETHER in mystery, Rather be deaf to life Unable to HEAR the hatred they spew, Than be able to LISTEN to their backbiting. Some are bedridden in darkness and blindness, Can't see themselves lacking courage To even face the world and themselves, They find comfort within their lies, Some are deaf to the cries of humanity. Hear the screams of injustice, of the hungry. Hunger that drives a saint to sin, Sergeant sin sending sisters sailing sinfully; Oh dear sister, what have you come to seek? The paper or the heart? You will consume the paper, soon it finishes Because the currency has wings,it flies on emergency But the heart will last beyond the blast of the past Until the future vanquished and soul sojourn. Knowing our crimson connection, Let's saddle the responsibility of our election To work our able hands To strip away the negativity & divides. Rather be FEW (but we are here) Than be MUCH MORE in act of selfishness. But WE WILL HONOUR OUR PURPOSE To build a BETTER WORLD; On course to be in other to see what life will be.
