Rain Against My Face

~ All I've known was rain against my face No rhyme or reason, every season was the same Blinded then, by a watershed of tears, Resigned to be forgotten, it rained throughout the years.......... But suddenly, I see a rainbow in the sky One word from you is like my stairway to the stars Assured, I've found you, and the shelter of your arms Tomorrow's season will have a sun again ~ (piano.........interlude) ~ The sun may disappear,... forever warm within your arms,... oh, yes...there you are.... It doesn't matter, now, having rain against my face You've chased away the cold, and kept me closer, just in case... You've wiped away my tears, with falling stars....... ______________________________________________ Lyrics For the Contest Sponsored By Craig Cornish "Emmanuel" 11/21/13
