Puddles
The puddles rested on the street
After, the rain did go retreat
Leaving scent in the air behind
I searched for answers I could find
Reflections lay for me to see
In puddles of my memory
Soon, to be dried by shining sun
Peace to be found in newfound fun
Eager to play in a new splash
Of life that passes in a flash
The birds wait for me to fly too
As I continue to renew
The flight within me is re-born
After each time, that things are torn
