Prayer 2

PRAYER #2 In a dream I tumbled away Like dried cremated leaves – Leaving my body As the brisk Morning air Finally brought me Tumbling down – Soothed By a cool misting rain. The sky dimmed And I slid Within the Incubation of night. My face Was caught In a circle Of violet-blue lights As I dressed, Rather properly, In clothing Of a Catholic calling – Wearing a blue Uniform shirt And crossed Snap on tie. I entered The mystical night Singing a hymn To Our Lady of Guadalupe. She smiled at me And so the wind Grew friendly As I sliced Through the Density of trees. I touched Her golden fire That surrounds her Serene face And breathed in The nucleus Spectrum Of dancing light. Awakening, I lit incense And sipped strong Coffee. I jumped across A peaceful rosary Landing in A euphoric pond.
