Poetry is what you want it to be Exuding from ones heart and soul There are no rules or regulations No-one has control Some write to voice their opinions Regarding important world affairs Others write to escape for a while Uplifting, light hearted words they share Some pen words of faith Which laden their souls with delight Poets pen whatever they feel As there are no wrongs or right!

The grammar, punctuation, etc., etc., is not that important; it is the feelings and emotions of the writer that matter. Shakespeare would have found it very different to write poetry today, methinks, olde frute. Surely X

I love this. There are all kinds of poems for all kinds of personalities. Personally I prefer short ones like this for message poems and short poems with amazing imagery or short funny ones.
