Some where in the world There is a tree A custard apple tree Do you remember And do you wait there still? Do you sit and stare And spin in your swing Beneath the shadow of the hill With presence bare And longing still? We were young, and I So innocent I was And did not know Why happiness was only In your happy company We held hands to walk And I believed tomorrow Was the only substance of today And kept my longing in my sorrow And kept our passion in delay But somewhere in the world now Wherever comes the memory Can toll again the beaded vow Or is love but history A picture swinging under a tree?

such a fond memory..I too remember sitting in the swing and winding up the ropes..twisting them tighter and tighter until my feet couldn't reach and spinning free! Happy Holy Days Light & Love
